Wildlife emergency response information.

The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) is the Lead Agency to respond to wildlife welfare caused by declared emergencies in Victoria, such as floods.

If you see animals that appear injured or caught in flood water, call the DEEC contact centre on 136 186 or the Wildlife Emergency App that can be downloaded from Google Play or Apple Store.

For more information go to Wildlife impacted by floods and DELWP Factsheet: Wildlife impacted by floods.
