The Warranwood Landcare Group, with help from members of the City of Maroondah Bushcrew, would welcome YOUR help at their Planting Morning next to the main (south-north) creek in Warranwood Reserve.

The creek is a tributary of Jumping Creek which flows north to enter the Yarra upstream of Warrandyte.

Park: In the Kurboroo Kindergarten carpark in Bemboka Road, Warranwood and take the path at the end of the carpark to the creek junction.Or Enter from Eden Valley Rd. (end of Braden Brae Drive) and follow the path along the creek. (Look out for direction signs).

To come by public transport - Take the Ringwood - Croydon bus (no 668) to Berrywood Walk/ Bemboka Rd Warranwood.Walk (north) up Bemboka Rd. to Kelly Court.Turn left into Kelly Court, and enter the reserve at the bottom of the hill.

NB the 'road' marked Eden Valley Road, on the attached map, is not a road but is a dirt track between Bemboka Road and the creek.

Wear: Strong Shoes or boots. Long sleeves and trousers recommended. Bring a coat if it is cold &/or rainy.

Tools & gloves provided. Free Cuppa, cordial & biscuits.

Children (ie under 18’s) are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them during the planting session.

If you cannot stay for the whole time, we would welcome your help for whatever time you have available.

The Landcare Group consists of local residents, and would welcome new members, or those that just want to help at the “Morning”.
