Steels Creek Landcare GroupSteels Creek  is located in the beautiful Yarra Valley.
Our Landcare area  comprises all private land within the Steels Creek catchment through to the Yarra River.
The area is a unique mix of land uses, including  rural (agricultural and rural living), conservation and urban fringe properties in Steels Creek and Yarra Glen to the Yarra river. We welcome urban members from the Yarra Glen township.
The Steels Creek Landcare Group began in late 2004, following community meetings of interested residents .
The group conducted its very first field activity in May 2005 - a small tree planting near the corner of Steels Creek Road and Gulf Road was undertaken.
