Come along to plant a tree as a living memorial to Mums who are not with us or bring your Mum along and plant a tree together.
Trees for Mum is a free national event inviting people of all ages to celebrate their Mum and the beauty of life by planting a tree in her honour, nurturing the environment and enhancing the local community – the place where families spend so much time together.
After giving Mum breakfast in bed or treating her to lunch, get into the outdoors and drop in to plant a tree anytime between 1 and 4.
Turn left immediately after Fiedlers Bridge crossing Bendigo Creek on Millwood Rd Huntly (begins as Burgoyne St at George’s Bakehouse). Follow signage. Track is a little rough but suitable for 2WD.
All equipment and refreshments provided.
