Weeding and maintenance near the start of the Leanganook Track
We will be working at the start of the Leanganook (Happy Valley) walking track, on Happy Valley Road near the corner of Verlin St.
The task is weeding and general cleanup around previous plantings and in adjacent areas. We will NOT do brush-cutting because of the fire risk, unless we are blessed with substantial rain in the prior days.
And of course there will be the usual delicious morning tea.
Remember to wear stout footwear, hats, sunsceen and gloves. We'll have some tools, but bring your favourite weeding tools if you have them.
