Weeding along Moonlight Creek
We aim to weed last year's planting along Moonlight Creek, and the area we planted in July (known as area 37) on the north bank of Forest Creek. We hope that these areas will have been brush-cut before the working bee, but we may have to do a bit on the day.
There'll be mattocks there, but bring your favorite weeding tool if you have one. Don't forget stout shoes, gloves, sunscreen and hat.
To reach the site, come along Happy Valley Road until the point where it crosses the creek. and then turn sharp right and drive long the grass beside the creek for a couple of hundred meters.
This occasion will be 'bring your own' morning tea - hopefully that won't deter too many people.
