As part of the Ramsar Protection Program, Indigenous Australians are invited to attend the Port Phillip and Westernport CMA’s Indigenous Wetland and Shorebird Conservation Training from 14th-16th November 2017.

This three-day training program will assist participants to: 

  • Gain the skills and knowledge to identify shorebirds and waterbirds 
  • Understand wetland conservation 
  • Work directly with industry experts who manage Victoria’s wetlands 
  • Explore the Port Phillip Bay (western shoreline) and Bellarine Peninsula Ramsar site – a wetland of international importance
