Over the coming 12 months,
a group of local community members will work on reducing invasive plants and animals, removing dangerous trees, track building, riparian works and tree planting,
beside the Swifts Creek and Tambo River behind the township of Swifts Creek.
A former local man, John Butler,
developed a concept of building cairns (stone monuments) along this track, that would display his poetry.
Our group is planning to finish his work and create a place for locals and tourists to safely visit.
