Following the highly successful Gorse spraying program run by Barrabool Hills Landcare Group, coordinator, Jim Seager has been asked to run a similar program North of the Barwon. For those who missed the initial field day on Brian Ballard's property at the commencement of our scheme, it would be well worth the effort to attend this event.
"Woolbrook" owner, Andrew Morrison, has already conducted some gorse bush removal using heavy machinery, the results of which will be interesting for anyone considering this option.
There will be a call for those who want to be involved in the scheme to add their names to the list. Only properties in Golden Plains shire will be considered for this scheme.
