2019-20 Victorian Landcare Grants

Applications have now closed


The Victorian Government is providing $1.76 million in funding for Victorian Landcare Grants in 2019-20. These grants will support Landcare and other environmental volunteer groups to undertake projects that protect, enhance and restore the land and environment.

Applications for the 2019-20 Victorian Landcare Grants are now closed. Applications will be assessed in the coming months and an announcement made following assessment.

How much funding was available?

Project grants of up to $20,000 were available for on-ground works, capacity-building activities, community education and engagement projects to protect, enhance and restore Victoria’s land and natural environment.

Support grants of $500 were also available for new and existing groups.


Who was eligible to apply?

Grants were open to all Victorian Landcare and other environmental volunteer groups and networks with a focus on on-ground land and natural environment improvement work. This includes:

  • Landcare groups and networks
  • "Friends of" groups
  • Conservation Management Networks
  • Committees of Management
  • Coastcare groups

The Victorian Landcare Grants are delivered by Victoria’s ten Catchment Management Authorities (CMAs).
