New Child Safe Standards apply in Victoria from 1 January 2017.

Organisations operating in Victoria that provide service or facilities where children are involved are required to meet new Child Safe Standards from the beginning of 2017.

The Commission for Children and Young People (CCYP) will oversee these requirements, which apply to community-based organisations where children are involved.
