Our site surveys continue. We will look at more of the Eucalypts growing along our pollinator link.

Our pollinator link between Yinnar township and the Hazelwood Cemetery is a multi-year project, and we are doing site surveys to see what's there already. This will help us to decide what to plant in future.

We'll have help from the Latrobe Valley Field Naturalists Club to try and confirm what we've seen already and look at trees we haven't yet identified.

We will have Eucalypt identification booklets available. By looking at the bark, the leaves, the buds and the seed capsules, we can usually be fairly confident of correct identification.

For some tricky ones, we can find juvenile leaves to confirm our ID. For a few extremely hard ones, we will take seed home and grow it to see what the seedlings look like.
