Our Churchill Community Market stall is a great way to find out about Landcare, our group and our activities.
Our October market stall can help you find out about those weeds that have started to grow with the onset of spring. Planting season for native vegetation has finished, but longer days and better weather make getting out and looking at what grows locally more enjoyable. We will be selling guides to the flowering plants of Morwell National Park for $10 and a guide to the lichens in the National Park for $2.
We will also have (free) guides to getting rid of common weeds in Latrobe City ; and suggestions for what you could plant instead of plants that often escape from gardens and into bushland where they compete with indigenous plants and disrupt habitat for birds and native fauna.
