The Munro Landcare Group formed in 1995 and have had a major emphasis of coordinated and integrated Rabbit Control across the entire Group area over many seasons. This has included initiatives with neighboring land managers including Vic Roads and Vic track and with adjoining Landcare Groups.

The Group has also been active in the management and control of African Love grass and with revegetation of farmland through direct seeding and tube stock planting.

Many corridors of vegetation that now appear across the district landscape are a testament to the Landcare groups and its members work.
