Our current project is funded by a Communities for Nature grant. Spraying of woody weeds along 20 km's of Merriman Creek between Stradbroke West and Seaspray has been completed. Roadside spraying of blackberries from Gormandale to the South Gippsland Highway (32 km's) has also been completed. Plans are now underway to host a water quality workshop with our project partner, Gippsland Water and the Seaspray Primary School. Other activities planned for later in the year include community revegetation projects and a Weed Identification workshop. Everyone is most welcome to get involved!
