This event is part of
Plantings at Swing Bridge Reserve continue. Another 600 tubestock to be planted this year.
Aims of the project: Continuing with planting that has been taking place for last 5 years, we have planted 3,200 to date and aim to plant further 600 native plants this year. Some plants have been grown by local primary school with collected seeds. Lunch will be provided.

Directions: Go through the Weir entrance, take 1st road on the left before the Weir wall. Go to round a bout at the end. Site is there.

Notes about the day for Volunteers:
Latrobe Council planting trailer will be on the site. Please wear appropriate clothing (hat, covered shoes, long sleeved shirt and long pants recommended).
The following will be provided: Tools and equipment for planting, Watering cans / buckets, Drinking water
Activities that will take place on the day:

- Weeding and maintaining existing sites
- Sausage sizzle starting at midday for the planters
