In tandem with Toogabbie horse-riders, who propose the re-opening of Fox Road between Toongabbie-Cowwarr Road and Mockridge Lane, the Landcare group plans to establish a wildlife corridor to join the Boola Forest to the Night-soil Reserve adjoining the rail-trail.
We have some funding for works on the riding trail, but these plans have gone awry as the land is licensed to the adjacent land-owner.
To put the funds to work, we plan to plant out the grassed section of this lane-way further to the East. Plans are in hand for a working bee on October 21 - if the ground has dried out sufficiently.
