Formed in 1992, formally as the Clydebank Landcare Group, the Group had previously operated as the Clydebank Salinity Awareness Group.The Clydebank Landcare Group has been a very proactive Group  over many years with a particular focus toward identifying and addressing the issue of salinity. The Group was instrumental in advocating for a range of solutions to reversing the impacts of salinity in the district through programs such as surface drainage, sub surface pumping, perrenial pasture establishment and revegetation.
