This creek runs adjacent to the western side of the township of Stratford, ultimately joining the Avon River.
The long-term vision is to restore the natural flow of the creek by eliminating weed species and replanting the area with indigenous species.
Part of this project has also meant informing local residents of the importance of not dumping garden rubbish in the waterways. This has been done by a flyer drop supported by the Wellington Shire and information published in the local Town Cryer.
Finance obtained from EnviroFund has enabled over 1550 plants to be planted so far.
