Greg King, the second Farm Trees Officer at VFF, is the latest interviewee in our Landcare Voices project, part of celebrating the 30 year history of Landcare with professional oral histories.
Experience of growing up on a farm and going to an Agricultural College, initially led Greg back home to develop a contract Tree Planting business. He later became a Field Officer with the Natural Resources Conservation League and from there was engaged by the Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF) as their second Farm Trees Officer. It was a time when tree and landcare groups were increasing in number and his role created strong links between the community and VFF across Victoria.
