Poowong & District Landcare Group and Triholm Landcare Group merged on 15th October 2021.

The Triholm Landcare Group was initially formed on 26th of October 1992 and has helped many, many landholders undertake a range of projects that have improved the sustainability of their properties, achieved environmental benefits and enhanced the natural beauty of the district. With a decreasing membership of the Triholm group and just a handful of people having an active role the committee looked at options for local people to continue to be involved with Landcare activities and that was the amalgamation with the Poowong & District Landcare Group to be now known as Poowong-Triholm Landcare Group.
