The Jindivick Landcare Group is an active community group which was formed in 2005 by local landholders. We aim to encourage and promote community interest in sustainable farming and land management practices among Jindivick landholders and the wider community, as well as to protect and enhance our local environment. There are a number of threatened species that are unique to the Jindivick area that the Landcare Group has identified and promoted amongst the community. These include; the endangered Eucalyptus Strzelecki gum, the Growling Grass Frog, and the Warragul Burrowing Crayfish. The group currently provides information and support to local residents in the form of information evenings, community activities and access to professional support through the resources of the Western Port Catchment Landcare Network.

Our meetings are held throughout the year & made known through mail drops & email. Our area includes not only Jindivick, but also Drouin West and Rokeby. So if you live around here and are interested in protecting the environment we would love to meet you.
