Help with weeding and watering, then BYO picnic lunch, and we'll supply treats and games!
The Jones Creek planting project has been progressing for a few years now, with regular help from community volunteers, members of the Phu Dong Scout Group and students from Caroline Chisholm College. Many plants are well established and thoroughly flourishing, but there is always something to do. Come and help us with weeding and removing tree guards and stakes from plants that are all grown up. After we’ve done a little bit of work, let’s have a lovely picnic together as we sit back and admire our efforts. Bring along your picnic lunch and we will supply cakes, treats and games for kids and adults.
When: Sunday 16th October, 10am – 12pm.
Where: Jones Creek confluence with Kororoit Creek, near 639 Ballarat Road, Albion.
What to bring: Picnic lunch, water, hat and sunscreen. Please wear sturdy shoes for this sloped site.
