This event is part of
A practical demonstration of two rabbit control methods with
Andrew Fischer, from Statewide Agricultural Blasting Services
and Frank Gigliotti.
Effective rabbit control involves the integration of several different control methods such as baiting, fumigation, ferreting, and warren ripping. This event introduces two methods you may not have been aware of that could be incorporated into an integrated rabbit control program.
At this event you will:
- See a practical demonstration of warren slumping using explosive charges
- See a practical demonstration of a new fumigation method that uses carbon monoxide
We will initially meet at the fire station to get an introduction from each guest speaker to the methods, including safety precautions, before walking a short distance to the demonstration site. We will then return to the fire station for afternoon tea.
Please bring a contribution to afternoon tea
The rough program for the day is:
