This event is part of
An informal discussion
Landcaring in Christmas Hills
The first in the program of Christmas Hills Landcare activities for 2009 is now:
“Helping each other post-fires”
An informal discussion at
Christmas Hills North Fire Station, corner of Ridge and Muir Roads
from 2pm - 5pm on Sunday, 22nd February, 2009
The Victorian bushfires included parts of Christmas Hills in their path.
People in Christmas Hills have been affected in different ways.
Some have lost their house and/or other property
Some have had a close call
Some have been on CFA duties and witnessed the fires (and the damage done) first hand
Some are revisiting their fire plans
Most are wondering what they can do to help their neighbours move forward.
Please join us for a neighbourly discussion to share our experiences, improve our understanding of what people may need, and start to think about what we can do to help each other.
Please bring something to share for afternoon tea and any folding chairs you may have, and a cup each may also be useful

Please extend this invitation to other Christmas Hills people you think may be interested in being part of this discussion.
Please RSVP by Friday 20th February to: Doug (ph: 9730 2626 or email: pipdoug@bigpond.net.au)
