In this project we seek the co-operation of neighbours of our worksites to extend projects beyond the original boundaries.

The concept for this project was born out of the winning entrant in our "make a wish raffle" at last year's AGM. The winning entry was "to improve the roadside on Gold Memorial Road opposite the Park by removing the weed trees on the first three naturestrips".
The committee approached the first three households who were all very responsive. After consulting with them work commenced almost immediately. Many of the weed trees are gone and have been replaced by indigenous trees and shrubs. The corner property is now also involved!
There is quite a change occuring along Gold Memorial Road which we hope to see extended to other sites in the near future.
