A second day of spring planting for our Creasy's Road bio-diversity corridor project
Our Second Generation Project for this year is to create an important bio-diversity corridor using a section of the Creasy’s Road verge and several adjoining properties. We have about 6,000 seedlings which we need to plant by mid-October and we need all hands on-deck.
The site has been well-prepared. Weeds have been removed and the ground has been ripped. We have developed a very efficient system for planting on this scale so the work will not be unduly strenuous (no digging!). We primarily need people to distribute and put guards on plants.
It should be a sociable and productive day. If you would like to join us on either one or both days – for part of or for the whole day – please let us know by return email so we can plan appropriately.
All you will need are gloves and good footwear. We will provide lunch on both days.
