The North Central Waterwatch Program aims to increase the knowledge and skills of community, to help them become custodians of their local waterways.
Our members test the water quality at five locations within the group area on a monthly basis assessing levels of turbidity, salinity, pH and phosphorus. Sites include:
- Axe Creek, O'Briens Lane Axedale
- Campaspe River, Axedale River Reserve
- Campaspe River, Backhaus Rd Axedale
- Mosquito Creek, above and below Axedale-Kimbolton Rd Axedale
