This event is part of
Planting to stop erosion at Wattle Flat Creek, followed by free BBQ
Last year the Wattle Flat group removed blackberries, gorse and other noxious weeds from along the creek and commenced restoration work. This working bee is to undertake limited planting along the water courses to prevent erosion, pending more local community consultation about the area.
We will supply plants and guards, a trailer, picks, mattocks & a free BBQ lunch.
Bring warm and protective clothing, gloves and footwear for wet ground.
