Nesting box display, planting and free BBQ. All welcome.
The Friends of Campbells Creek and Winters Flat Primary school have been working on the “schools” section of the creek for many years. This year we are producing some nest boxes for local birds and mammals, as well as improving existing vegetation.
Please join us as Miles Geldard of ”Wildlife Nestboxes” explains and demonstrates the types of nesting boxes we have to install. We will also be planting some indigenous plants along the creek to improve the local habitat.
We will have a free BBQ to conclude the day’s activities from Midday.
Please bring: Hats, gloves, sturdy clothing & footwear, protection suitable for the weather.We’ll supply the rest - hope to see you there.
