This event is part of
Guarding plants at Lindsay Park, with late morning tea - all welcome.
Last year we planted seedlings at Lindsay Park and direct-seeded some areas there.
On Sunday we’ll return to erect tall wire guards to protect them from Wallaby browsing, and recover and reuse guards from plants which no longer need them. It’s also a chance to see the success of our different methods of vegetation, and how plants survived last year’s floods.
Meet at 10:00 a.m. at Lindsay Street, Campbells Creek. We’ll finish with a late morning tea at noon.
Please bring hats, gloves, sturdy clothing & footwear, protection suitable for the weather, and your own water. We’ll supply the rest - hope to see you there.
