This event is part of
Working bee with late morning tea - all welcome: we'll be re-establishing some attractive understorey plants in a high visibility area.
On this day, we’ll be planting out Poa grass tussocks and sedges between Campbells Creek and the walking trail near the new footbridge at Camp Crescent.
This area was first revegetated in 1986 so take the opportunity to come along and see what a difference 30 year old indigenous trees and shrubs make to what was previously dominated by exotic silver poplar.
Please wear clothing suitable for the day including sturdy footwear and bring your own drinking water. We’ll provide all the tools and materials and a late morning tea afterwards.
If you’re driving, the best place to gain access is via Camp Crescent off Yandell Street.
Hope to see you there!
