Come along and help finish our 2021 plantings in this interesting wetland area.
The recent good rains mean we can still plant the last remaining 250 sedge seedlings we ordered. That’s not a lot, so the planting won’t take long. We’ll also be able to weed around the existing plantings and there’s an opportunity to finish off some not quite dead willows.
Wear: hat, gloves, clothing suitable for the weather and sturdy footwear (gumboots advised).
If you can, bring a charged cordless drill and drill bit of diameter between 5 and 10 mm.
We’ll supply the rest, including light refreshments.
Meet: here 150 m downstream (south, towards Campbells Creek township) from the Lewis Drive carpark.
Hope to see you there!
