This event is part of
Planting at indigenous food and fibre site
We have about 100 plants to put in to this site, which is at the start of the Leanganook Track in Happy Valley Road, near the Verlin Street intersection. You can park in Happy Valley Road.
Landcare working bees are happening, with enhanced precautions to minimize the risk of COVID-19 exposure. If you want to come to a working bee, please send an email to CLGVolunteers99@gmail.com and we will send you an email with more information.
We want to keep a very clear physical distance between volunteers as a precaution, and we ask you to bring your own hand-washing equipment (soap, water, towel) plus your own tools if you can. We have a limited number of pre-cleaned tools if you don't have your own. Please also bring your own refreshments if you want them as morning tea will not be provided.
As always, wear gloves and stout footwear. Gum boots might be useful to cross the creek which is flowing nicely.
In line with our duty of care, we will request your contact details so that we can communicate with you before, during or after your working session. We will store those details securely and update our mailing list if needed.
