Planting in the Montgomery Street grasslands
Another working bee, you are thinking! Yes, they come around quickly and so we are getting lots of things done.
Thanks to those who came to Colles Rd on 16 June - it was a great turnout and the resulting 'demonstration site' is well worth looking at.
Now we have some planting to do on the Montgomery St grasslands. Meet on Montgomery St where the walking path heads down the hill - you can't miss it. We will start at 10.00 am (our winter starting time).
We will be planting shrubs, grasses and sedges, plus some direct seeding activity - that should be interesting. We would really welcome your help!
As always, please wear stout footwear and bring gardening gloves.
We will plant from 10.00 am - 12.00 pm and morning tea will be available.
