Axe Creek Landcare Group encourage a community-wide, cooperative, multi-disciplinary approach to caring for the land. We seek to understand the knowledge and practices of our traditional landowners, Dja Dja Wurrung; promote sustainable land and water management practices; engage landowners to restore the land and practice sustainable agriculture.

Our activities generally centre around revegetation, weed management, roadside rubbish removal, nest box installation and educational information sessions.

We welcome new members to our group in whatever capacity they feel comfortable with. Involvement can be in a hands-on capacity, using tools and carrying out on-the-ground works; it could be committee involvement, or simply participating in educational sessions and receiving communications.
