6 local landholders are participating in a perennial pastures trial

This project involves 6 landholders who have agreed to plant a range of perennial pasture varieties on a 4 hectare test plot. They will be treated with the different applications, have soil tests done and monitored closely. On 25/10/08 27 people attended a field day to look at the different organic products (in part to promote our organic spray unit).  On Monday 24/11/08 Gwyn Jones inspected the sites and discussed overall soil health and soil testing. The aim of this project is to gather valuable data to pass on to any landholder looking to improve their pastures.
