This project is live

What was once a pile of rubbish and weeds his being transformed into a lovely picnic area that highlights our local plants. We have planted indigenous species that would have grown on these creek flats and erected an interpretive sign explaining indigenous use of these plants.
Its an easily accessible, relaxed place to see and hear Superb Blue Wrens, Reed Warblers and lots of other birds as well as Kangaroo grass, tussock grass and lots of shrubs. Just off the Beechworth Wodonga road near Wooragee village its still a work in progress but a great place for a visit.
We have monthly working bees on the last Sunday of the month at 9am.
