Educating and involving the community in protecting, preserving and valuing parklands.
Friends of Willow Park formed to promote the protection and preservation of the social, economic and environmental values of Willow Park (Wodonga) including the flora, fauna and features (scenic, archaeological, geological, historic or scientific).
Willow Park plays a major role in the lives of the Wodonga community.

It contributes to the health, leisure and wellbeing of Wodonga residents wishing to undertake physical activities, whether joggers, walkers, soccer players, cricketers.
It provides a haven for the community to connect with nature and escape the stresses of everyday living.
It is a valuable meeting place for people.
It is an important ecosystem; home to abundant birdlife, some endangered species and a platypus family in a nearby creek.
It provides an important greenbelt corridor.

We have regular Information Evenings, Waterwatch and Community Gardening in the Park Programs. We also participate in a number of annual events and are involved in a number of projects with others.
