There are a number of significant trees in the urban area of Wangaratta, so to help us to recognize and appreciate these trees, the Wangaratta Urban Landcare Group is organizing a photographic competition. Information about this competition will be available at the launch. We will hear from the experts on trees and photography .
This is 'A Plume Positive Project' and is funded by the 'Inspiring Environmental Solutions' program by the EPA. These funds were granted by the Magistrates' Court to the Rural City of Wangaratta as a result of a pollution plume event in 2011 to fund EPA approved environmental projects in the affected area.
