BushTender is an auction based approach to improving the managent of native vegetation on private land.
Under this program, landholders competitively tender for contracts to protect and improve native vegetation on their property. Round One was completed in June 2007 with 40 Landholders signing contracts to protect and improve 2,800 hectares of native vegetation on private land in parts of the Mallee, North Central, Goulburn Broken and North East catchment regions. Round Two covers the same area and is now seeking Expressions of Interest from any landholder with remanent vegetation on their property.
To register an Expression of Interest, call DSE’s Customer Service Centre on 136 186.
