The Koetong Landcare Group covers the plateau around the village of Koetong in the Upper Murray. The area includes the top of the catchment of the Koetong, and Beetoomba Creeks. Most of the area is public land, including the Mt Lawson Park and state forest, plus the softwood plantations managed by Hancocks.
This group formed in 1996, and is one of the four groups involved in the Upper Murray Water Quality Monitoring and Catchment Planning Project.
