You are invited to a Native Plant Propagation Workshop this Sunday (16th December) at 2.00pm at the Landcare Nursery at Running Creek.
This is a hands-on workshop, where you will have an opportunity to learn about:
- native plant identification, seed collection & storage
- seed preparation
- testing the viability of seed
- potting and seed-raising mixes
- direct seeding techniques
- how to find out what species are indigenous to your area
- useful propagation resources(books, databases and internet resources).
We will finish with a BBQ tea.
You are also welcome to bring plant/seed samples for identification.
For catering purposes, please RSVP to Belinda by Saturday 15th December. (please advise of any dietary requirements)
All welcome, even if it is for an hour or so.
