This group covers a major part of the lower King River and Fifteen Mile Creek catchments from Upper Myrrhee and to near Wangaratta. Greta Valley Landcare Inc. is an incorporated, not-for-profit community group working to improve the health of our land and our community.
The group is able to offer members a variety of assistance to protect remnant vegetation, undertake revegetation, control weeds and/or feral animals and also has a range of equipment available for hire to members at subsidised rates. 
The group also periodically issues newsletters, holds general meetings with guest speakers on topical issues and conducts field days on various topics of interest.  Every year a community end-of-year gathering is sponsored by the group to provide the opportunity for community members to come together and enjoy some good food and conversation.
Greta Valley Landcare welcomes all residents, irrespective of whether they have a residential block, a lifestyle property or a farm and offers the opportunity to learn more about caring for our land and the assistance to actually do it.
