A great chance to learn from local graziers who have been planting and growing trees for decades to improve their agricultural productivity, animal welfare and aesthetics.
Monday 25 June 2018 --- 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
1702 Benambra Road, Benambra
You are invited to attend a 2 hour tour of farm tree plantations.
This 2 hour event is a chance to learn from local graziers Geoff and Alison Burston who have been planting and growing trees for decades to improve their agricultural productivity, animal welfare and aesthetics. Their plantings vary in the species, spacing, size and shape, soils and their purpose.
We encourage land holders to join us, particularly those who are wishing to participate in the BDPO Landcare Tree Rebate Program. Collect an application form for this on the day.
The event is weather dependant. If it’s too wet or cold, we will postpone to another day. Bring your boots, water bottle, camera and note book.
