In August 2008 The Ultima Landcare Group conducted a Rabbit Ripping Program. The group used Walter Bruckmann, a registered contractor for the ripping. Warrens were cross ripped on roadsides and the ripping project was funded through the State Governments 2nd Generation Landcare grants program.
