St Marys Primary School in Sea Lake have planted a drought garden as a Junior Landcare project. The School recieved a Junior Landcare Grant to develop a drought tolerant garden. The site is situated on the Calder Highway in the town and is planted with drought tolerant native species and mulched with crushed rock. The garden has been set up to promote alternatives to lawns and european style gardens
