The fires of Black Saturday, 7th Feb. 2009, devastated large parts of our region. SInce that time the Upper Goulburn Landcare Network has been helping the community and natural environment rebuild and recover from that tragedy.

Through it's Caring for our Country program, the Australian Government is funding fire recovery work in the Goulburn Broken Catchment, Vic. With it's strong links to the local community and track record of delivering NRM services, the Upper Goulburn Landcare Network is well-placed to deliver part of the GBCMA's fire recovery effort.
