Join the Cardigan Windamere Landcare Group to hear from a range of speakers talking about threatened species in the Ballarat region and go on a guided bird walk around Winter Swamp.
In recognition of the Brolga’s plight, the Cardigan Landcare Group propose to hold an event at Winter Swamp for threatened species day in September. Dr Inka Veltheim, a leading specialist on the southern Brolga, will be onsite at Winter Swamp to talk about this remarkable bird and to answer questions people may have. In addition to Inka, the Cardigan Landcare group plan to invite a range of speakers to the event. Everyone is welcome to attend, the Landcare group will be providing a sausage sizzle lunch so please RSVP for catering.
