May 2011. The Committee, with the assistance of members of the Snake Valley community, replacing fenceline.
1 May 2011 saw the completion of the final stage of the fence construction project with the aim of restricting access of livestock to the Mag Dam wetlands.
Several members of the Committee made an early start to assist local contractor, Mat Bush, to drive the end assemblies. In the afternoon the troops were marshalled en masse with a very speedy result, the entire fenceline finished erected by nightfall!
The Committee opted for a 6 strand plain wire fenceline as being the best solution with horses in the adjoining paddock.
Next on the agenda - revegetation of the fenceline with native shrubs.
